Our story
The Secret Garden started in 2009. Our humble beginnings started on Highway 64 West when Phyllis Davis decided to start a small florist in Waynesboro, TN. Phyllis had recently retired and was looking for something to do to help her stay busy. Her love for flowers and people led her to open our doors.
Shortly after she opened The Secret Garden, Phyllis moved the shop into her home. For 15 years she ran the shop out of her house. Through these years her special touch was added to every arrangement and item she made.
Phyllis became known for her consistency and creativity with both floral and home decor offerings. Her ability to take someone’s idea and turn it into a masterpiece was the cornerstone of The Secret Garden.

In 2022 Phyllis began the process of moving into full retirement. After numerous conversations with family and friends she decided to sell the shop to her family members Caleb Cummings and Tyson Dill.
Caleb and Tyson are both as passionate and attentive to our customers needs as Phyllis was throughout her tenure of running the shop.
Our goal as new owners is to offer the same quality and superb service that our customers have been used to throughout the years. We plan to modernize our office and become more available through others channels such as our social media pages and the website.
To distinguish the change of ownership we have updated the name to The Secret Garden Floral & Gifts. This shows the brand of the past along with our hope of offering more decor and gift items as we move to the future.
Our family is excited to continue serving Wayne County and the surrounding areas. Our hometown is special to us and we love being a part of putting smiles on our neighbor’s faces.
